We all know the fairy tales--Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast. And as strong, modern women, we've been told that these stories-- which clearly indicate that a woman should just wait around for a man to save her--are a lie. There is no Prince Charming and no happily-ever-after. Right?
But what if what we have been taught is wrong? Not just the part about us not believing in fairy tales, but what if we have been taught wrong about what the fairy tales are trying to tell us? Maybe there is more to these stories than meets the eye. And maybe they actually have something to teach the modern woman about how to find happiness-- and true love--in the modern world.
